Completing crossword puzzles has been shown to improve cognitive condition in Alzheimer's disease patients. AD patients maintain and improve their verbal fluency by doing crossword puzzles. Verbal fluency, which is defined as the ability to produce linguistic output, helps AD patients ability to communicate effectively with family members and friends. If AD patients fail to maintain their verbal fluency, then their memory and other cognitive functions will decline at a faster rate.  By forcing the solver to use their memory and problem-solving skills, AD patients benefit from solving crosswords. Please click on the following links to choose a crossword puzzle to solve!
